Sports Nutrition
Athletes are always looking to get faster, fitter and stronger. At Sun Valley Bar we believe in the power of whole foods. This back to basics approach provides athletes with "real food" that gives them sustained energy, speeds recovery, and supplies them with hundreds of beneficial antioxidants and anti-inflamatories. Other companies pack their bars full of cheap fillers and make up for the lack of nutrition through additives. Give Sun valley Bar a try and see how satisfying real food can be.
Weight Loss
With so many different diets to choose from it is difficult to know what works and what doesn’t. The key to successful weight loss is finding a healthy diet that you can stick to. If you can get yourself to commit to a healthy diet full of whole foods, you will find that you crave less "junk" and feel more satisfied. Below is an outline as to how you can make some positive changes to your diet.
- Remove all processed foods from your diet
- Try and eat only whole foods
- Listen to your body

Just for Kids
Parents repeatedly tell us how much their kids love our Sun Valley Bar, even picky eaters! Just like adults, kids need nutrient dense diets full of whole grains, nuts, seeds and fruits. While only the most adventurous children will gravitate towards these foods, we find kids will eat them when they are in the form of a yummy Sun Valley Bar. Kids also love the color of our wrappers!
Eating Right for Diabetes
Diabetics are encouraged to consume limited amounts of carbohydrates evenly spaced throughout the day. Your doctor and or a dietitian usually determine the exact amount. Ideally diabetics consume their carbohydrates in the form of whole grains, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and low glycemic sweeteners. These nutrient dense foods slow down digestion, keeping your blood sugars steadier while supplying you with the nutrition your body requires.
Sun Valley Bars are a great option for Type II diabetics for two reasons:
Our bars contain between 30 and 32 grams of carbohydrates and 4 grams of fiber, which is equal to 2 servings of carbohydrates. Most individuals with Type II diabetes are advised to consume between 1 and 2 servings of carbohydrates between meals, making our bars a great snack option.
Our bars contain complex carbohydrates from whole grains and heart healthy fat and protein from nuts and seeds, which means that the naturally occurring sugars in our bars are slow to enter the blood stream. Slow release of sugar means better blood sugar levels.
